Covered all over in dense engraved blossom work, this Edwardian silver vesta case has an almost textile quality to it, the pattern pressed right to the very edges. The cartouche on the front was never inscribed and the gilt interior survives intact, making this a genuinely lovely example with full Birmingham hallmarks for 1906.
