A wonderful anitque micromosaic brooch, its round gilt frame packed with tiny hand set glass tesserae forming a vivid central flower ringed by scalloped fans and geometric borders. The kind of miniature artistry that took real skill to produce, in glorious untouched original condition.

Condition & Measurements

Good antique condition with all tesserae present and secure. The frame shows expected age related tarnish and the reverse pin fitting is a simple C catch consistent with the period.
